Look what I brought home from Hi Chi Minh City

I stayed at a hotel with some very nice watch boutiques nearby - Brequet, JLC, Ralph Lauren, Blancpain and of course Rolex. Went into all of them to look at their pieces and inevitable, compared their pricing. My final stop was Blancplain. Being the boutique, they have some amazing looking pieces there. I was really fascinated by their collections.

And I did not come home empty handed....

    So what's inside the bag....

All I can say is that the packaging, the finishing and the attention to details is really amazing.

So what did I bring back...??

    Their latest product catalog....

Well, who knows, maybe one day, I would be able to afford one. For now, drooling over all the nice pieces in the catalog is good enough for me to dream about them.....

You had me going there for a moment! But hey...you got to visit a Blancpain boutique (something I have never done), and came home with a catalog containing pure watch porn. Win!

I do like a nice watch catalogue, something to sit and pore over and dream. The high end ones really are beautifully produced as well

Sorry, couldn't resist it..... and guess what, my wife met me at the airport upon my arrival, and she too, thought that I had gotten myself another watch. I played along, and told her that this would be my most high end (implying most expensive from her point of view) purchase. She didn't say much, but could see her eyes almost rolling.... Again, couldn't resist it. But all's good. No drama, even if I did buy one. Heehee.

Agree with you totally. Though, I must say the ones from AP & VC are really pathetic (at least those that I have gotten from their boutiques last year).

One more that I grabbed during his visit.....

I've been to a few Blancpain boutiques in China. They really are fantastic watches. Now you have some good reading material whilst preparing for that next purchase.

That catalogue alone looks like quality. Nice choice and will help you make a great "To-Get" list....

They are really nice. No doubts about it. But I really am not sure if I will drop so much on one watch. Well, never say never.....
