6th June what are you watching?
Over thirty Dakotas, strung out over about ten miles and interspersed with the odd Spitfire, Mustang and, in this shot, a couple of Lockheed Hudsons (or possibly Electras). Splendid!

the interviews with the 'old boys; were both heartwarming and heartbreaking in equal measure -i travelled down to the National Arboretum in Staffordshire - i have been there several times- its a wonderful experience whether one has military connection or not -you can lose yourself in the poignancy of every aspect of the place
