Seiko 3 watch collection perfection
Back in the day on f71 at the old place someone (pretty sure it was Dpflaumer) provided what they considered to be the perfect answer to the age old "build a 3 watch collection" question. The answer was all Seiko.
Everyday watch: Seiko Alpinist SARB017
Dress watch: Seiko SARB035
Beater: Seiko SKX013
It was an answer that immediately rang true with me, partly because they're all great watches, partly because they're all in my favoured size window.
Over the intervening years I've never forgotten it, and this week, with the arrival of my SARB035 I've achieved the mid-size affordable Seiko holy trinity.
I am a happy man
(and would be even happier if I'd set the date correctly on the 013 in the photo below)

Missing manual.
Congratulations! Beautiful trio!

That's a very handsome collection of Seiko. Not perfect, though....add an SBBN015

You can't say any collection of anything from Seiko is "perfect" without some quartz representation from the masters themselves, no?

Actually that's a fair point!

And you really should hurry, too. Seiko is updating their ENTIRE tuna lineup (the SBBN015 is being replaced with the SBBN031 for example) and in the process you can kiss your sweet ass goodbye to that beautiful oyster bracelet and sexy hand set. Chop chop!!
