    Long time...

    Howdy IWL friends!

Long time no chat. Been a busy guy the past while. Moved house. Closed a business. Lost a grandfather. Did some other stuff.

Been really into knives and EDC of late and watches have taken a back burner since I closed the strap shop.

I've pared down to 10 watches with 2 for sale and another one going up soon, maybe tonight. I'm planning on getting a field watch though and that's the underlying reason for my post.

Looking for a black dial field watch with few restrictions. Less expensive the better. This is a category I've never really shopped so not sure what's out there. Just don't want a timex or something that inexpensive.

    I'd like:
    42mm+ case
    Date
    Sapphire
    Auto or quartz

Also, I have a lot of IWL straps left. I'd like to donate them to the forum. So the forum can sell to pay for keeping the lights on or give them away for whatever reason is chosen. Who should I be in contact with? Or please email me, info@aguetradingco.com

In my opinion this is one of the best field watches. Plus they can be had at steep discounts. Not sure if they are still available or sold out though. Also Hamilton of course.

Yeah I see the 42mm khaki. Not sure if I'm excited about that one or not. Looking for other possibilities.

Didn't know there was a quartz Hammy Khaki. I'll search for that next.

Found the combat 6 for $279 on eBay which is hard to argue with.

yes the combat 6 was a close match went for the hammy as had a really good deal on it ..but if I could find the thread I did it had all the info in it on the hammy and my thought ..I was a bit underwhelm with it to start with but it grew on me with time .

now the combat was maybe the one I should have gone for
