John Walker, South Molton St, London

I've had this company recommended as a reasonably priced place where not only are movements serviced but cases polished etc.

Anyone have any experience of having work done there?

Aside from the usual business listings the only online reference I've found to their current activities is this in the FT, somewhere between a review and a puff piece:

I haven't heard of him, but he must be doing something right if he can maintain premises in South Molton Street.

Yeah...that address made me a bit nervous about prices, but am told he's reasonable. I think they (the original Mr Walker is a long time dead) do clocks and jewelery. Since I'm so happy with my Seiko Skyliner I'm curious to know how much a bit of careful polish to the case would be, plus a gentle clean of the hands.
