Some supermarkets over here have those machines, you dump the shrapnel into a chute, it gives you money back - less a handsome commission.
I'm not sure how it gives it you back cos I've never used one, but maybe it gives you pound coins and change back

Yeah, I had a bank around me that did that too. I went back there to change it and they got rid of their machine. So all that’s left is Coinstar, which takes a cut. But still, it’s worth it not to have to deal with rolling the coins.

Thanks. I broke the tip off, so I need a new one or have the blade replaced. I have a few others, but this one is the best to carry for me.
