Thread: EDC items

    EDC items

What are your must-have every day carry items?

Besides a watch these are usually my essentials that are with me all the time. I don't like to have pockets of stuff.

That's about it for me, too, although I have a little leather folding thing that holds my keys (other than the car, which I just carry loose along with the keys). It really annoys my wife sometimes--"Do you have everything you need?" "Um, yeah."

Wallet, phone, keys. Sometimes no wallet. I wonder when we'll only carry our phone. When batteries never run out perhaps.

There are no £1 notes in England anymore, right? It would drive me nuts having to carry coins all the time, I absolutely hate it.

    £2, £1, 50pence, 20pence, 10pence, 5pence, 2 pence and 1pence - all coins

Everything below and including 5 pence is completely pointless.

Marks and Spencer’s have a knack of being able to provide multiple 5 pence pieces in your change WHATEVER you bought and it drives me frickin’ crazy.

Yup, 5p and below goes in charity boxes. Most other coins go in parking meters, unless I’m in a pub.

Never, I hope. Maybe just because I'm older, but the idea of locking/unlocking my car/house from a phone app does not appeal. Hard to see how those things can't/won't be easily hacked.
