New addition
Hey Cats,
This walked in through the door.
Nice Omega quartz, usual issues, malfunctioning jeweled movement which thankfully is full serviceable, cleaning, oil, battery, crystal and gentle polish as the rgp is in beautiful condition.
Was a 25 year watch, it was dated to 1981 so it's pretty impressive that it's still running and well within cosc spec I might add.
Traded a vintage airplane model for it. This one will get moved on as I'm only interested in having a stainless Seamaster type in the collection.
Peace,
Preston

That's very cool, Preston. What is the GF branding on the dial?

Thanks for comments everybody. That strap has seen duty on many watches, I'm looking for a non taper 20mm strap so I can use the gold butter fly clasp I'm using on the current strap, going black leather as always.
Learned my skills online and teaching by two watchmakers in my city. One passed away and the other's mind is going. A shame but when you're in your 80's/90's right.
Peace,
Preston

Consolidated Freightways. Was there any inscription on the back of the watch?
