    ID and Date my Orient

    I’m new to Orient. How do I identify the reference and date this?

    when I do pics will add a movement shot also when doing the back I tend to make sure any ref numbers are easy to read

    but if I look at it sides ways I see Y469624A-7A so that and look would say anywhere from 1970 to 1979 at a guess I would say the movement is a 21 jewels automatic calibre 46941 with seeing the movement can't say for sure thou

    not necessary the first place I look but for explaining movements one of the better and I can cut and paste whole paragraph so much easier using them

    to show members what it is

    might not be that movement but think good chance looking at dial and case back

    This was the BEFORE pic.

    Replaced the crystal and cleaned the case and dial. Was hoping to find something less brown

    had a few of those 70's orients also citizens not bad really for something from that time don't know how it is with where you live but here fairly cheap to pick up special if you go the India markets but then they are bound to have been messed with in some way
