I kind of understand you, because I vaguely recall that at some point I was finding him annoying, too. But he does put out informative content and if I'd had any objections to his style or mannerisms, they've been long gone.
There are browser extensions available for blocking the YT channels you specify. I remember I had to look for one when Chelsea Handler was jumping out of every recommendation I was getting, and I just can't stand her.

Well, fair enough, but if you don't trust phones on a hardware level (and I don't trust any chinese phones on that level) than the only thing left to do is build a cabin in Montana...

Not that it's news, but corporate arseholery knows no boundaries: https://www.theregister.co.uk/2019/0...s_privacy_law/

Update: I wanted to report that I was very pleased with the service Invidious and the browser plug-in Invidition but it seems like Google's been cracking down on them and vids haven't been accessible through that front-end for a few days now.
The US contemplates breaking down the tech giants as per their anti-trust policies. My prediction is Europe will wake up late but will be more solid in the implementation. I'm browsing job opportunites in anti-giant tech / pro-privacy sector.
