    **** Vintage watch related things I found interesting ****



    Well I thought I might do a thread on things I see when looking for old watches that catch my eye think I have done several threads on keys for key work movement so wont be just keys ,could be tools ,movements, cases etc that I find interesting so to start with I think the keys above is a good start .

    As they server a purpose but also can be just things of beauty and Objet d'art in themselves mean the fusee movement fascinate me the energy and skill in making them even as parts are amazing tempted to buy one just as a thing of wonder you some time see early faulty one go for not large sums of money .

    Very nice elegant watch. Being in the US, I rarely think of pocket watches made in Europe. I did not even fathom that Japan made any. Thanks for sharing!

    yes I think first England / France and then Swiss when it comes to pw then america but yes japan is not one I would have thought of so yes going with the sellers info here plus does not look like it would be from any of the country's I meationed so when I get time might try to look in to Japanese pocket watch making maybe
