    I expect this would be a "military watch". Bought right off a Red Army officers wrist in Red Square in the early 80's. Still runs fine with no servicing, however, I never wear it, just take it out to wind once in a while.

    yes well in 65 they became the official supplier of watches for the Ministry of Defence of the Soviet Union so for a while yes they was but not sure how long it lasted I know by 2010 they went bankrupt but was restructure but can't remember who was then running it .

    sold most of my vostoks do have a blue sub one from the 80's somewhere think it is my last one had a few hundred of them at one time
