Despite what you might have heard....

I have not left the building, nor the planet.
In the past 30 odd days I have visited:
    • Sydney Australia
    • Bay of Islands and Auckland NZ
    • Tahiti, Moorea and Bora Bora
    • Various and sundry Hawaiian islands
    • Vancouver BC

and a lot of water in between. Trans-Pacific cruise from Sydney to Vancouver. I'm back now - bit jet lagged but on the mend.

And yes I did buy a watch.

Yeah that , but without the Jeannie bit obviously

... you missed a whole heap ** of shananigans over here Ray , the stories we could tell !!

** I can't recall the phrase you used the other day for "a lot" Jeannie, but you'll vouch it was that much shenanigans wasn't it.

I believe it was "mess of" as in a mess of greens...

Sounds like a great trip Ray. Had you been to Australia before?

Your trips are a great argument for managing watch purchasing carefully.

Welcome back Ray! So, keeping us in suspense? What watch did you buy?

Even a broken watch shows correct time once or twice a day. I ought to know, I have a few!

Wow, that sounds like an amazing cruise, Ray. Good to have you back though.
    More importantly, WHAT WATCH?

What watch? With this sort of trip on my financial books you surely can't expect anything expensive.
Besides there is a lot more stuff to do in Tahiti than go watch shopping.
No I confined my watch search to the shops on the ship. They had good deals on Citizen and Bulova, so I got a Bulova dress model to replace an old Caravelle I had that died a couple of years ago. Looked nice on formal night.
I'll post some pics later on when I get a chance. Nothing too exciting though.
BTW (and I can't figure out why) the ship's store had MASSIVE sales on Invicta (they are now claiming they are made in the USA.)
They claimed the usual 75% off MRSP. I felt like walking up behind the many eager shoppers and screaming NOOOOOO!!!!!
