    I think I'm right in saying date is in the spec for air force issued watches but not army.

    Great review, I had the hand winding version and really liked it. Great value for money, but I came to think it wore a little large for me so sold it.
    My go to field watch it the CWC G10, I've had mine for 5 years now

    I have a handwind no-date version of the same watch with a non-black dial - one of my 1st recent watch purchases in the past 3 years.


    will post it later when I'm at work - you've inspired me to wear it and I get to put a pic in this thread for company .... and one in my 'not for a while' thread , because it's been a while

    No, but I can see why you might think that - it's not unlike the Damasko finish.
