I think I'm right in saying date is in the spec for air force issued watches but not army.
Great review, I had the hand winding version and really liked it. Great value for money, but I came to think it wore a little large for me so sold it.
My go to field watch it the CWC G10, I've had mine for 5 years now

Very nice. 38mm is a good looking size on these. I have been tempted myself.
