We had a little fun at the race track today

We took the guided VIP tour. They take you into a few places the public is generally restricted from seeing. The first stop is the Archives and Research Center, off track property (the first 15 photos). Then they take you onto the track surface (next 17 photos). Then you go inside the Media Center (2 photos). Cup garage (1 photo). Winner's Circle (1 photo). Daytona 500 Club (1 photo). Tower Suites (13 photos of the view, and 1 video of the driving rain storm that hit).

Nice pics, looks like a fun trip. Is Daytona in your backyard?

I live 10 minutes from the track, and we can often hear the racing. My first time there of many was 40 years ago.

I've been there; my mom lived in DB for many years until she passed away.

No. My mom passed away ten years ago, haven’t been there since then.
