This is way too classy for me...

So you all know I recently purchased a Vacheron Constantin. They have a mailing list/club called The Hour Club, which I signed up for. It was free, why not? You put in the serial number, etc., of your watch and you get an email saying you've joined.

But then, this shows up at my house:

Inside is a letter signed by the CEO of VC:

And with it, a little package:

Inside--an extremely high class pair of microfiber gloves:

You can't see from that picture, but on the other side, they are monogrammed with my initials.

Now, I can't imagine ever using them, but how classy is that?? I don't even own anything else that's monogrammed other than a 25 year old nylon bag I bought for $10 in Korea. (Best $10 piece of luggage ever, BTW.)

So, as the topic says, VC is clearly way too classy for me...

Wow, ml. Pretty darn classy. So, are the gloves for cold weather or for delicately handling your VC?

The total package is very cool!

The latter. Guess my view is that if I need special gloves to handle my watch, it shouldn't be my watch. But it's the thought that counts.

I'm sure your milk cows would really appreciate you wearing them.
