I'm not sure of the dates on this fluffy ladies piece, but it does hark back to a more feminine styling with its vintage cocktail bling.
And yes, it's a watch, a Rolex to be precise:

And I like it...
If you ever find out more about it, I'd be interested to read it.

I like it too, though not at the price. It's currently listed for sale here:

But their info is sketchy and--since it's a jewelry site--more slanted toward the gems and precious metal than horology.
As time allows, I might do some digging. Could be fun.

But where does it say "superlative chronometer"?

I also like it. It's a smart piece that's not overly obnoxious. The "bling" aspect is surprisingly subdued compared to other offerings.

Here's another, which I confess I don't particularly care for. I believe it's supposed to be a butterfly. It's from the 1940s but the ribbon style bracelet on the first watch strikes me as slightly more modern. Perhaps late 50s or early 60s.

David Webb did some jewelry looking like that, supposedly with a Rolex underneath:
But I cannot find much info on it.

I like the ones where the watch is hidden - a surprise to be unveiled. The second of Jeannie's looks a bit like one thing on top of another.
