I figured I would go to the experts.
This early 70's Hamilton is running EXTREMELY fast.
I am trying to get a handle on what the cost of servicing it would be, who/where to go for service in the U.S. (any people with particular expertise or just any old watchmaker?), and whether simply replacing the watch would be cheaper.
Thoughts?

Could just be magnetized and needs a good watchmaker to regulate it.
Servicing by a good tech should be $300-400 or less, depending on what is needed.
You might use your local Yelp to try and find a good watchmaker in your area, as one suggestion.

I second the finding a good watchmaker. That's a standard movement which should be easy for them to work on.
EXTREMELY fast says magnetised balance spring all over it.
But if you didn't notice a recent post of mine , this is a doppelganger of a Kemmner watch (Kemmner Militär W1954) that he sells right now (via email request)
