Speaking of bargain, I just got four watches back from my watch maintenance dude (for about as much money as the watches are worth... well maybe a bit less) and one of those watches is Kath's old 1966 Tudor. It turns out that this maybe had never been serviced before - at least the watchmaker didn't find any service marks and that's his opinion. It's one of my favorites, and happy to wear it with new lube to keep clicking for another decade or three.Just an ETA movement inside, but who cares, it's a great little watch, and now I can wear it any day I want without worrying about service intervals.

Too many watches, not enough wrists.

Lovely to see it again, and hope you get decades of enjoyment from it!
I’m so pleased you’ve given it the care it deserves, such a relaxed elegance
It's the final countdown! PM me before they're all gone!

Thank you Kath! It has pride of place among the favorites in my little hoard.
