Is there one watch?
...that you would want and happily wear for the rest of your days if you had to give up all your other watches, and could only have the one (money no object)?
I know for me, the answer is no, I can't think of one, because there are too many wonderful watches out there (or even in my current collection) that I wouldn't want to limit myself to one, no matter how incredible it was. I like variety too much. I suspect that will be true for most people on IWL, but I wondered...
So, what say you? Is there one, and if so, what is it?

I know pretty much exactly what the watch I would happily wear exclusively, were I not permitted to have more than one, will look like, and what its specs will be....once someone releases it. However, as yet, it exists not

My answer Will probably be ... No

But the question specifically says "cost no object", so if you could afford it (or any other one watch you desire), would that be enough?

I bought the Explorer because I thought it would be that watch. I've bought many, many other watches since, but I still love it.

It's a resounding No for me, I never expect to quit chasing. The brief honeymoon with the new one, the reaqautence with the previous ones and the inevitable search for the next one :-)
