And then there's the rest of us who just like watches...
I purposely didn't include a third option like the one you've suggested, because it's too easy for people to default to that (and makes the discussion less interesting).

Better remove one of the yes votes from the survey then! Sorry!

I don't think it's possible to jigger with the votes once they've been chosen. Unless there's a super-secret way for a mod to do it. But then we'd know that the mods can jigger the results of any poll.

Okay. I will stay with my yes vote and forego a beater!

It's not hard to see how this is going to go, perhaps this thread (great as it is ) will morph into a virtual self help group! with only those will 12 watches able to start their recovery

For me it is no. I could see myself trimming my collection to around a dozen. When I retire I would like to thin it down to three or four, but I honestly only see one in my current collection making it into that batch.

Over at the Rado forum I had a three, six, twelve (from one's current collection) thread based on a music thread of Scottjc's. That had some surprising results.

    Is there one watch?

Yes, this would be something from what I call "The Boring Black Watch" it's an all rounder.
    36 to 40mm, 100m.
AT, Explorer I, Date Just, one of the many GS's that all look the same, Royal Oak, Nautilus, Aquanaut, Aqua-Lung, Overseas, etc. Any of GG's PP, AP, VC or IWC.
Hard to beat a Rolex on a budget , no budget like Brad Pitt, a Patek Philippe Nautilus in blue.
