    Is the idea like pre-faded, worn out (or even torn) jeans?

    This way you don't have to wait for your clear rubbery plastic product to age, wear out, and turn that color (which normally inclines me to replace it, e.g. eyeglass nosepads)?

    (Great name for it though.)
