Thanks Alan. I wasn't sure about this watch when I bought it, having never seen it in real life, but I think it's been one of the best watch purchases of my life.

Strap experiment - day one of six.

Experiment concluded.

Buckle preferred to deployant.
Calf preferred to alligator.
But, curved end strap probably looks better than straight.
And, 21/18 width looks better than 21/20 width.

I need a custom strap... and at some point I’ll order one from Camille Fournet, who make the JLC straps. It won’t be cheap, but it will be less than half the price of a JLC strap.

In the meantime, I’m happier with the £10 strap than the deployant original.
