Following on from Seiko Prospexís special STREET series, here are a couple of 2019 models that have been styled kinda' in the same vein. These ones have really cool block hands and markers, though.

Inspired by the original 1975 Seiko diverís, these new models features the same iconic outer protector AKA shroud but in a slightly more compact design designed for the urban live.

Something that I feel make these models stand out is the use of Old radium-style lume, something that Seiko have been using more and more of recently.

SNE541P1 gets a classic steel case and components with a black shroud and black articulated rubber diverís strap while SNE543P1 is a little trendier with black case coating and dark green rubber.

All other spec. remains pretty much the same as the regular Solar Diver, so that's a 46.7mm case constructed with an inner-Stainless steel module with an outer casing in hardened black plastic.

Divers features include: a domed crystal, 200m of water-resistance making it suitable for scuba-diving, anti-magnetic-resistance, a one-way bezel and a screw down crown and case-back.

Power comes from a Solar-driven Driving system, the Seiko Caliber V157 which has an accuracy of Ī15 seconds per month and an operating time of for approx. 10 months from fully charged.

Its functions include an overcharge prevention function as well as a quick-start function. Further features of the watch include: hands and dial markers with Seiko LumiBrite.
