For me it was the tonal shifts. It went from silly to serious and back again too often. Couldn’t make it through the first episode.

I was traveling for business when I watched the first episode, and it was actually the first episode that had me hooked. To each his own...tonal shifts and all.

Black Bird on Apple. Actor who plays Larry is creepy as hell. Similar in feel to Mindhunter.

    Reservation Dogs is back!

As a refresher, I wrote about it here, back in October:

Really, really enjoying Netflix’s Sandman. I tried the audiobook, but I had a hard time engaging with it. But this version is fantastic and largely true to the book, but also modernized in some really good ways.

Is it just me, or does anyone else feel like the writers and actors on Better Call Saul just mailed in the last few episodes? I thought they were disappointingly flat and uninspired. Also thought the ending was a complete bust. A great show with a really blah finish.

This happens with a lot of shows towards the end, unfortunately... I'm not this far into the series... and it's been a while since I've remembered to watch it....but what I have seen I have enjoyed.

Bad endings bother me not - it's a journey, not a destination.

It wasn't so much a bad ending per se, just flat and lifeless...
