The first season of F! was good; the second season, even with MB and Ferrari participating, seemed more haphazard and a little disappointing IMO.

Just watched the first episode of Tales from the Loop. Odd, in a good way, and very well done. Will have to keep watching.

Is it dark, heavy, depressing in any way? I’m avoiding negative stuff right now in an effort to stay sane.

Avoiding dark and heavy here... I can't believe my wife and I have become addicted to a BBC real estate show called "Escape to the Country." Obviously they set this up to showcase the outlying regions of the U.K. for people to get a better idea of culture, history and geography. But it has become the most silly guilty pleasure. Usually it's older couples from the London area trying to spend their nest egg to retire into a rural area that checks all their boxes. The elegant old converted barns and workers cottages they show are absolutely delicious. If it weren't for the weather, it would make me want to move to Cornwall or Devon, just for a start.
Too many watches, not enough wrists.

^^My Dad’s family are from Devon
He grew up as one of six kids in a village on the edge of Dartmoor

A few years ago I was interviewed for a job based in Exeter
And discovered that, due to second home owners, there was no way I could afford to live anywhere near my family

    Didn’t get the job
It's the final countdown! PM me before they're all gone!

On a lighter note, my sister’s Aussie in-laws based their picture of life in the UK on watching Downton Abbey and Doc Martin

They never really got over the culture shock of her wedding during a wet winter in Wigan
It's the final countdown! PM me before they're all gone!
