I might give it a try, but I'm not generally a sitcom fan...although I do like The Good Place.

This one's very witty. I pick up new things every time I rewatch it.

While Arrested Development doesn’t tackle the same heady themes as The Good Place, those first three seasons are at least as layered and clever as The Good Place, if not more so. The writing is so good, there are jokes and jokes that take on a whole new meaning upon a rewatch. It’s truly brilliant.

The Good Place is the best sitcom since AD—but I don’t think it quite surpassed it.

OK, OK, I give. I'll try it.

To each their own, of course. What about the show didn’t do it for you?

It's one of those shows about really awful people doing really awful things to one another and that has never held any appeal for me. I watched something like the first 4 episodes. I have very little memory of any of them so it wasn't even memorable to me.

Ah, I see. They’re not all really awful, but I can see that.
