OK, this is a major network show, but I have not laughed out loud at any show for quite a bit since "The Good Place".

Shred me, but I love "Ghost".

The cast is amazing and the writing spirited, beyond the norm with the usual network fare.

Check it out and let me know what you think, IWL brethren.

The Good Place is amazing. One of the best comedies of the last decade, easily.

@wschofield3 I just got a second recommendation for Ghosts. I don’t like that Indian guy (grew up around too many dudes just like the douchey characters he usually plays), but it’s worth a try. Two recs from people I trust, I can give it a few episodes.

Tried to watch Avenue 5mostly because it had Hugh Laurie. Three in and other than one gross, but funny scene I have no reason to continue.
    Cheers,

    Michael

I really like that show for some reason. Hugh Laurie is excellent, Josh Gad cracks me up, and the guy who played Gabe in The Office was born for this role.

Humor is quite a subjective thing. I really like many of the Avenue 5 cast and Josh Gad in the Rocker is one of my go to cheer up movies. This is just a bit too silly for me to keep interest. Maybe it get's better, but I don't see a reason to continue.

I'm halfway through the first season, and even though I'm not a huge comedy fan, I like it. Hugh Laurie is always good (although the accent-switching is starting to get old).
