    You're just making all the downloads fatter somehow.

    FWIW, I downloaded Ireland in Guru now -- showed 128MB in the pop-up, but 334MB now in the download list.

    That’s true, but I’m not sure it does walking directions when offline - or didn’t when I went for HERE WeGo, which was then called City Maps and was the niftiest solution I could find.

    Slightly backward step question from me: what’s wrong with google maps? Or Apple maps come to that? I’m not trying to be snarky by the way, I just don’t know the answer

    Not interested now, as soon as I saw that I dumped it.

    Yeah I tried that, but it still seemed to want to use data. I donwloaded a big chunk of the UK around me..
