    I found this for $1,900 (preowned)

    Does 1900 buy a better quality chronograph in another brand? You can give your opinion based on your own interpretation of "better quality.

    might play along later but not necessary better quality just alternatives as thats a fine watch just much prefer the white dial thou

    Not necessarily "better" just different - unless you want a column wheel chronograph.

    Dial is silver plated - crystal is sapphire - model is Terrassenbau

    I can't comment on the watch and I'm not much for chronographs anyway; but I didn't think $1900 was such a good price for a used one....
    ... so I had a quick Google around:
