    California Channel Islands, Anacapa Island

Did some dives at Anacapa on the 23'rd, good water conditions, Squale as main dive watch

Also took the parts special for its real world leak test

It passed, not a watch I would dive because of the bezel indexing but it will word as a loaner.
A few miles away a tragic oil spill, so far localized.

Thanks for sharing your great dive photos. They certainly give a sense of what goes on under the waves. Interestingly I just finished reading San Miguel by T.C. Boyle. It gives a little of the (historic) flavor of the islands above the waterline.

Other than the bars on Catalina I've never set foot on any of the islands

That certainly qualifies as getting some of the spirits of the islands.

Just seen this and I'm so happy to see that case under the sea. Fantastic work!
