I am so sorry, Peter. What a wonderful and long life Alfie had. I am glad that he left this world on his terms, and with loved ones to see him off.
Run free, Alfie.

Oh man Peter. So very sorry for your loss......I know that despite the way that Alfie left you, your heart is extremely heavy with sadness at this loss. So glad Alfie was able to live a full, happy life and, no doubt, gave you an incredible amount of joy. Thoughts and prayers toward you with the loss of your wonderful pal.
They are such a huge part of our lives (and truly a part of the family), and will be missed forever.

You're probably too tough and northern to cry so I'll shed a tear for you. There, done.

So sorry for your loss Peter.
I know you cared for Alfie like a child and he couldnt have asked for a better home to spend his 15 years in.
