First Post Basel Ball Release EMII Skindiver 2

This is the newer larger (43mm up from 40mm) Skindiver. The Skindiver is based on a 1962 limited production Ball dive watch. If you check the Ball Basel thread there are several videos including one with Ball US President Jeff Hess discussing the 1962 model.
    Cheers,

Great looking watch. The 40mm Skindiver is on my short list.

    Wonky date window - I'm out !
On a positive note: I like the 11 link bracelet.

Better make it a quick short list if you want new since this is replacing it. I wish they would keep both, but since Ball's model list has now swelled over the one hundred mark they need to cut down a few.

Agree. It is the only brand I have to spend some serious time reviewing when I am Ball shopping. Almost too much to choose from, IMHO.

I could live with this date window at 4 1/2
But 43mm is much to big for me
So, the 40mm "old" version is better IMHO
    And the bracelet is superb

It's not the position of it that bothers me, it's that the date doesn't read horizontally.... like this:

The only Ball that interests me. I wish it had sword hands.
