    Withdrawal symptoms...

For the first time in recent memory - I have nothing "incoming". Yet another "birth-year" watch (a nice copper-dial Benrus "Doctor Watch" arrived today (along with 3 PW back from re-grooving - but service "incoming" doesn't really count). Nothing on order, nothing "in the mail". 3 more go out for service in the a.m., and another 3 in/3 out exchange (with a different watch repair shop) is likely to happen on Tuesday.

Hmmm...the Benrus appears to be running a bit fast. Oh, well...it will have to wait it's turn. It's a 1947 and I'm only up to 1905 in my service queue. So much for "fully restored"!

It does to me! I find the feeling of anticipation of a watch incoming from service is the same -or stronger- than the feeling for an incomeing new watch. Especially if the watch has been gone a long time.
OK...I know it technically isn't quite the same thing, but it sure feels like it.
