Mat Watches have released their first compressor diver; a watch developed in cooperation with SNSM, the French Sea Rescuers.

The SNSM or Société Nationale de Sauvetage en Mer are a French voluntary group born in 1967 from the merging of the Société Centrale de Sauvetage des Naufragés with the Hospitaliers Sauveteurs Bretons.

They are tasked with the saving of lives at sea around the French coastal waters, including French overseas territories.

On a side note, check out the good looking lass stood on the deck of SNSM rescue boat – how pleased would you be to see her!

The SEA RESCUERS watch closely follows the recommendations and required specifications of the Sea Rescuers themselves.

As a compressor case it is equipped with 2x screw-down crowns integrated into the main-case thus ensuring its excellent level of water-proofness and durability.

The 4H winding mechanism means the watch can be regulated while the 2H crown activates the internal rotating bezel.

The watch is waterproof to 200 meters, with an ETA 2824-2 automatic Swiss movement, a domed Sapphire glass and reinforced spring bars.

This watch comes in two dial colors: Ocean Blue & Ocean Sand, highlighted by bold touches of orange for optimum readability.

For each watch sold, MER-AIR-TERRE has agreed to donate a percentage to the Sea Rescuers association.

You can choose your two straps from the blue / sand rubber, leather or canvas.

MER-AIR-TERRE is offering a special reduced price for all volunteer members of the SNSM. Delivery will be in December 2019.
