    DST

    Yesterday was the start of Daylight Savings Time for those areas that observe it, it's also that time when you need to change batteries in your smoke sectors and check your hardwired ones to make sure they work!
    Not something you want to forget.

    end of Oct (Last sunday of October and last sunday in March to go forward again)

    The US always does it on a Sunday. I guess it cuts down on the late to work excuses. Who's gonna (want) to remember to reset your alarm after getting pissed at the party?

    I reminded my daughter only to have her say that she no longer has any clocks that don’t automatically update themselves.
