Elephants may be smarter than I thought...
Anyone seen this CNN blurb about the first "Elphie"? Seems that trunk has more dexterity than I was aware too...

Elephants are very intelligent and their trunks are amazing. They have fairly complex social systems too.

No doubt! On reading further after posting this, it turns out the shutter was set on automatic. So not as amazing as I first thought (elephant did not SNAP the pic). Still, seems the big fella knew what was up (he had posed for countless shots). So for some bananas, he was willing to provide a unique view and an "elphie-stick" to accomplish the shot. Very very cool. No doubt the human will never forget the encounter. Rumor has it that the elephant won't either.

Evolutionary Deadend
My first thouight was that and elephant could easily get away with wearing 3 watches - pretty cool. Then Henry brought up the octopus remark and my mind started to reel. Guess all eight would have to be divers though.
