    Perks

Guessing that most of us get a kick out of seeing a long lost (?) from the depths.
Most watches are bought too wear , most of us have , perhaps too many to wear , yet , when re-found are an aweaken reverlation.
Just me , ... any thoughts

I sorted do this If I can't sell a watch and don't feel like wearing it anymore I box it up and stick away and forget about it. for months / years until I stumble across it again then I either wear it then or try to flog it again

Whenever I fancy raising something from the depths, I remember that I’ve sold it.

Admittedly I go through a good number of watches. I can count on one hand how many I’ve owned a second time. In most cases the second try is about 10% in length of the first time.

I do this with watches and with music. I over do it, put it away, rediscover it, fall in love all over again, wonder why I ever got tired of it, over do it, put it away, rediscover it, fall in love all over again, wonder why I ever got tired of it, over do it, ...

The music is fine, because you don't need to oil it. The watches... always a bit of a worry.

I'm amazed by flippers. I mean I get it, it's the rational thing to do, but I can't bring myself to sell a watch. I've given one or two away. I have vintage watches that I know I'll never wear, but I'd only sell them if I needed cash for an emergency and I've never had a watch-buying emergency.

I'm pretty sure I'm in the minority on this, but in fairness, it takes all types.
I'd Schwarzkopf it daily, except I couldn't be bothered with the inevitable explanations...
