    this is a bit confusing

After his death in 1984, Mr. Lapeyre’s collection became the property of the Fondation Napoléon, a nonprofit organization established in 1987 to promote scholarship of French imperial history and to preserve Napoleonic heritage.

    how can it have been
established 3 years after his death surely it would need to be around so it could be gifted to them on his death ?

Everybody knows the dice are loaded, Everybody rolls with their fingers crossed
Everybody knows that the war is over, Everybody knows that the good guys lost,
Everybody knows the fight is fixed. The poor stay poor and the rich get rich That's how it goes.
