Thread: Casio GA2100 Modification idea

    Casio GA2100 Modification idea

Just watched a video on YouTube on the above watch.
He showed a teardown and something interesting popped up.
The hour markers are on a removable ring that is only held down by two small pieces of double sided tape.

If I can find a spare, I might try and airbrush the markers so they are slightly more visible (same colour as the hand lume) or maybe actually lume the flat portions?

    What do you guys think?

P.S. I didn't pull my awesome prize watch apart, the pic is a cropped still from this video ...

Might even lume the Grey bit on the day hand.

I think it's a great idea. Would definitely help with legibility.

Ive torn down G's to the parts held on with similar double sided tape. They arent too difficult to put back right.

Hi did you manage to do this? I am thinking the exact same thing but I will 3D print myself a few of the hour marker rings and dip the entire ring in lume then fit it. Also maybe lume the hands and also the day hand. and potentially the lettering on the bezel but thats ddepends on how brave I am feeling after i have lumed the other parts.

Hello sir! Bit late on the Casioak bandwagon I know but the stealth one is a prime candidate for some lume modding. Also got the grey and green/black on the way so I will mod the stealth.
