Exclamation River Watch Co - Tiber Dual-Crown Diver

Howdy folks! I hope this type of post isn't frowned upon here but I'm a backer of this project so I wanted to share the love. (Full disclosure, I'll be making a custom NATO strap if the project meets it's first stretch goal).

    So the details:

    It's on Kickstarter: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...er/description
    It's nearly funded.
Case: 42mm 316L stainless steel, 50mm lug to lug length and 22mm lug width, 11.3mm thick.
Movement: Miyota 9015 Automatic, 28,800bph, hacking and winding.
Crystal: 2.2 mm sapphire, AR coating on dial surface.
    Water Resistance: 200m/20 ATM
Crowns: Etched logo on 4:00 screw down crown, triple gasket bidirectional 2:00 crown
Caseback: Screw type with etched logo
Luminous compounds: Vintage Beige Superluminova C3 on Tiber Tuxedo, Aqua Blue Superluminova BGW9
    1 Year international warranty
Scott Bakker (SBakker on WUS) just added 25 spots to the $400 (CAD) level for each style so act now before they are gone.

Here are some photos of the prototypes and the first stretch goal.

I remember your first ever post for this, just sketches of a design asking for comments. I think you started off by talking about a *dressy* diver. As it's evolved it's moved away from that a bit. Was that a deliberate decision, or was it more that as the design came into focus you found it was naturally wanted to move in that direction of its own accord?

That's pretty much it. I started with the idea of a dressy diver, aiming at the 9-10mm thickness mark. Turns out that's incredibly hard to do and maintain decent water resistance (this is 200m WR), so it evolved a bit. Now it's a sport/dress/vintage diver, I guess?
