    Good day, IWL.

This one is with me for - exactly! - 46 years.

It's a bit of a weird thing, because the minute/chronograph seconds is a not a sexagesimal, but a most uncommon centigrade scale. You can google it and find out what a centigrade scale was used for.

As a kid, it was not easy to get used to it, but eventually I got over it.

The quartz crisis killed the brand, as it did to a bunch of other companies.

I'll be smoking some pork loins and wild salmon for a good friend's 60th birthday party. They have been marinating for a day, and hopefully it will stop raining for me to clean up the little side smoker and fire it up. Something sturdy and waterproof for the day, NTH on iyonk.

Too many watches, not enough wrists.

Compared to yesterday's frosty start, it's relatively mild today at 12C.
I don't feel the need for change so more of the same:

    LOL!
yeah it probably will be just fine...
i was just a bit worry since it take so little effort to put back the bezel.. i just don't want to check the time only to find the watch missing the bezel! (knock on wood it would never happen)

this one would remain the main one in rotation even if i ever have a Submariner (it would probably sitting pretty in the watch box just for Ooohhh and Aahhh factor =)

    off topic...
if anyone ever get a good bargain for this watch..

    or even this...

please keep me in your thought..
