    Only six? I have hundreds!
    6139 range
    6138 range
    7016 range
    6117 range
    7Ax8 range

I could go on, and could easily do a dozen models for each movement range.

    Good point!

6139: probably the most famous is the so called golden Pogue which was the 6139-6002 worn by Col Wm Pogue aboard Skylab, the first automatic chronograph worn in space. This picture is the actual watch that he sold at auction some years later, it has some non-original service parts but is the real deal!

6138: let's go for the collector's favourite, the Panda version which is the 6138-6012

7016: The fly-back chrono available in many versions, I've gone for the 7016-5001 'Monaco' version as it is square cased and a nice iteration. Round cased versions available too, and all rather lovely.

6117: I'll go for the 6117-6010 World Traveller version, and the rarer 'Error Dial' version. It got this name as London is listed as an hour ahead of GMT instead of level with it. What a lot of people don't know is that for 3 years (1968-1971) we were in line with Paris and the like before the change was repealed and we went back to good old GMT and BST.

7Ax8: I've chosen a 'marmite' version of the watch here. The 7A28-7000 'Ripley' so called as it was worn by Sigourney Weaver in Aliens. The 7A28 was the first full quartz chronograph and was released in 1983, with the 7A48 following on its heels a year later which had the addition of day/date. Finally a 7A48 was released that had the extra complication of moonphase.

5718: I will add a 5718-8000 'Counter' from the Tokyo Olympics in 1964 as it's a proper grail and most probably out of my reach in this lifetime. The black dial was thought by many to be just a rumour until one came up on yahoo.jp and was bought a well known collector.

H558: I'll be cheeky and add in the legendary 'Arnie' H558-5000 worn by the big man in Commando and Predator. They have just released a solar model based on the Arnie (referred to by the Seiko community as the ArSol) which is pretty cool but the actual watch is long discontinued,.

*edit: I should add that none of the photos are my own and credit due to the original takers (which is unlikely to be the original online posters in many instances).
I'd also add that for many of these I wish parts were available probably more so than the watched themselves, I do some servicing and restoration and finding parts is the part I find hardest.

SARB065 - the original cocktail time with 6R15 movt

SLA017 - loving it but couldn’t stomach the price

SBGA011 - the classic snowflake, loving the more balanced dial

SBDC021 - golgo 13 fieldmaster, loving the dial and hands but hate the date window position

SBDB015(?) - titanium landmaster with crown at 12? Loving the extra GMT but also couldn’t stomach the price
The SBDB015 was probably the lowest entry point to get a Spring Drive watch.
    Cheers,
