Same watch, 2 colours?
Ok so I have this (which I love and has become almost the default weekend watch)...
(Not my pic, source here)
And after trying on the gold one, I just feel like I want it too!
(Again not my pic, source here)
I saw it at the airport on my last trip and at the duty free pricing its actually cheaper than what I picked up the steel one for 2 years ago. I think its a bit crazy to get it but I still want it!

It’s good to have some variety in life! Off the top of my head I think I have a couple of watches with different dial colours but none with different case materials of the same model. Although I know a few people who have several square G’s and rotate them all, it’s a tempting option.

I've done it before. Nothing crazy about that.
Different colour = different watch. That's a pretty much accepted axiom.

I have black dial and white dial vintage Ses Wolfs and they are two totally different watches. If you love it in this color and you love it in that color, why not have both?
Once in awhile you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

well why not I did something similar I love a gwm 5610 I bought one cheap bout £30 ish and modded it with a lightning blue kit and then I got a gwm 5600 and did a brass mod bezel only and also a full brass mod on a dw5600 which all have the same kinda look .. I picked up another brass kit so if I find another well priced gwm 5610 will pick it up ..
then just keep the two 5610 probably ... one brass one blue
also done it with a ga-100 got a red camo and a arctic camo one ...
to me in away if you found something comfortable and is use its still nice to have a change so having two different colour options gives you that choice

I know it's basically a different watch and maybe I just wanted some people to enable me mentally!

It is a bit crazy....but so is this hobby. I’m considering it myself for a different watch. Go for it.

The gold metal gshock with negative display is spectacular. That and the gold Seiko turtle (on jubilee) are pretty much peak 70s porn star. A gold Rolex or anything else is too mainstream. I think I would go the turtle but it's a close run thing. Apparently the gold finish holds up well on the gshock.

I agree, the same watch in a different color isn’t the same watch at all.
