    Early start - ««««««««« WRUW - Saturday - 18 January 2020 »»»»»»»»»

    Good day, IWL.

I know it's a bit early, but i's already Saturday, here.

    Two watches for the weekend:

    1. Since it's raining pretty hard, a diver - although far form mandatory - is a natural choice

    2. The forecast for tomorrow suggests a sunny day, therefore, I believe the Breitling Cosmonaute will be a 'safe bet':

To be honest, this watch is becoming a bit of a challenge for me to read...

    Happy weekend, IWL!

Coming up on two weeks of consecutive wear now. I wouldn't say it's a honeymoon because it's just not that kind of watch, and especially not today spending time with a wife that is still gently simmering over this purchase. We're receiving some solid rain in Sydney, finally, translating to some reduction in the pressure on fire and water resources, my cricket being cancelled and crap surfing conditions, so it's a quiet one with the family.

It turns out even fit young-ish guys need to wait a while before training starts, then complete about 6 months of training before becoming volunteer fire fighters, and unless you're close to the action you have to really push to demonstrate your commitment.

Thought it was a hair so wiped and took another pic but it really is a crack. First time in my life I've had a watch glass crack. Hasn't been knocked or dropped. Lives in watch box at night so cats can't get to it.

Can it be changed out like on other watches?

This for tennis, which was cancelled at the last minute due to ice so I’m walking the woofer instead.
