While checking out S.U.F.’s new 180 field watch, I noticed these two handsome (current) colorways for the Finnish brands diver’s watch, the VETEHINEN.

The Vetehinen was released in 2017; it has water-resistance to 300 meters and has been crafted from high-grade Supra 316L/4435 Stainless steel.

The steel comes from Finland’s world-renowned steel giant, Outokumpu which has been forged in Helsinki and impregnated with anti-corrosive nickel mined in Finland.

Even the chrome was mined in Finland, outside the remote coastal town of Kemi.

These are the ninth variants of the Vetehinen. Once a colorway has sold out it is gone for good. Each of the colorways is limited to just 26 pieces (black dialed steel case 52 pieces).

Basic spec. includes: a Stainless Steel (Supra 316L/4435) case measuring 42mm in diameter with a thickness 13mm. The black model has a black DLC-coating.

Powering the watches is an Eterna 3901A Caliber automatic movement. MSRP is 3’750€(steel), is 4’351€ (DLC). The watches come on Marine Nationale-style NATO straps.
