I don't think we'll get to see the new show for a few years over hear so I have the advantage of hearing what every one thinks about him without having to watch it and be dissociated.

I like the fact that he doesn't need to do it, for financial or career reasons, so must just fancy it. He was an obvious choice from day one but I didn't think he'd want the commitment or the responsibility. Fair play to him.
He wasn't everyone's cup of tea when he was a young DJ, but he's undoubtedly a talented and original broadcaster, and nobody's fool. He stands a better chance of making the show his own than anyone I can think of.

I liked him when he was a guest and when they went to his house. I know nothing else about him.
Can't say I fancy anyone taking it over, even him. The BBC should get on its hands and knees and beg Clarkson to come back and be better next time.

Not interested to be honest, the sooner Jeremy, James and Richard set up a new show on Netflix the better if you ask me.

Nah, it had got tired and predictable. Blessing in disguise.

Meh I hope the new Top Gear is good and the other three have a successful show. More choice is always good.

I don't like cars either, so have a double excuse.
Mind you, Evans was great right at the start of his career when he did a short-lived kids Saturday morning show

The Dude Abides
I would watch out of curiosity at first, but plenty of other options out there that already compete for my attention.

Chris is a nice enough bloke, but with James and Richard leaving I think it will be the end of the BBC's cash cow 22 years of chemistry is impossible to replace.
I'm also waiting for where the trio will pop up
