    Aftermath

Although Nashville is getting all the press, my little town 80 miles away is accounting for the majority of fatalities in this mornings tornado hit.
So far, 24 confirmed deaths, 18 in my area.
In the town/county 88 hospitalised, and 77 still missing as of 20:00.
I live 4 town blocks from the hospital and the sky was full of life flight choppers from first light until about 17:00 this evening. I doubt there was a solid 10 minutes without a chopper overhead.
Here's some news pics of my town.

Holy cow, that's a lot of damage. Worse than I thought. Glad you didn't get hit, and sorry for those that did and also to those still missing.

Tornadoes are evil wicked mean and nasty. Glad to hear you're okay.

I've seen it on the news, but I imagine it's nothing compared to what it's like in person. Hope you and yours are OK.

I've been through one tornado that by some miracle went airborne over our block when I lived north of Orlando. The total lack of any real warning scared me pretty bad. I've been through about 11 hurricanes including one cat 5 and I'll take those any day of the week. Sorry for your town and happy you are safe.
    Cheers,

    Michael
