Hmm. I don't see Explorer in every 3-6-9-(12) dial and it could be argued the name doesn't need to be associated with Everest and is as good as Alpinist. I'd say if anything's suspicious there, it's the triangular marker at 12.

The triangle is what seals it as an Explorer dial.
Alpinist is a fairly common noun, but ‘summiteer‘ is a word that is rarely encountered. It looks like naming by thesaurus, rather than appropriateness.
