    Thank you, Iyonk!

As you probably have read, there was a thread here where Iyonk offered a few of his home made straps. I was one of the lucky winners, and yesterday my prize arrived! It is gorgeous and I put it on the 1601 today.
For now, some iPhone shots, hopefully some better ones soon when I have a bit more time.

Now I have to punch a hole!
    Thanks again Iyonk,

    Martin

That is a perfect vintage match up -one for the 'cool' thread without doubt -and another Iyonk success story

Thank you very much for the great pictorial Martin... really glad to see my strap on a very nice Rolex of yours -- even though i always wish my strap doesn't look 'so home made'... at least it will give you some impression on how it look with simple stitch strap when someday you decide you want a luxury one hehehe...

thank you Martin, and enjoy the strap =)

    Beautiful watch and strap.

Coincidentally, they were advertising the very same model all day today on the U.S. Golf Open telecast. I was getting very tired of seeing it over and over again, but your post has renewed my appreciation. Thanks.
